The Askar 111F is a versatile self-flattened astrograph featuring a 111mm aperture, 766mm focal length, and a native f/6.9 focal ratio, designed for both deep-sky astrophotography and everyday photography.
Optical Performance & Self-Flattened Design
Quadruplet APO Structure: Adopts a quadruplet lens design (three elements in the front, one in the rear) including one ED glass element and built-in baffles to effectively eliminate chromatic aberration and block stray light, delivering sharp full-frame imaging.
No Back-Focus Calculation: Features an integrated self-flattening optical system. Users can shoot directly upon achieving focus without purchasing additional field flatteners or calculating complex back-focus requirements.
Adapters & Accessory Compatibility
Multi-Format Adapters: Comes standard with a photographic extension tube featuring an internal 2-inch filter thread and M48×0.75 / M54×0.75 adapters, offering seamless compatibility with DSLRs and dedicated astronomy cameras.
Triple Finder Bases: Includes a finder base slot on the handle plus two finder bases on either side of the focuser. This allows users to attach guide scopes, smart controllers, or other accessories without disassembling existing gear.
Mechanical Build & Craftsmanship
Precision Focuser & Rotator: Equipped with a 3-inch rack-and-pinion dual-speed focuser with 1:10 fine adjustment (includes a protective cap for the fine knob) and a 360° graduated rotator for precise framing.
Portability & Mounting: Built with CNC machining and finished in the classic F-series blue and white color scheme. Features a retractable dew shield for compact transport and a 300mm Vixen-style dovetail plate with 1/4" and 3/8" screw holes for direct mounting onto photo tripods.
