Celestron NexStar Evolution 6 Computerized Telescope
The Celestron NexStar Evolution 6 is the first Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with integrated Wi-Fi and a built-in lithium-iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery. Featuring a 150mm (6-inch) aperture equipped with StarBright XLT optical coatings, it delivers sharp, high-contrast imagery for both visual astronomers and astrophotographers. Built with upgraded precision brass worm gears and DC servo motors, the Evolution 6 minimizes gear backlash and offers tracking accuracy suitable for deep-sky imaging. Controlled wirelessly via the free SkyPortal App for iOS and Android, observers can navigate over 40,000 targets and perform SkyAlign routines directly from a smartphone or tablet.
(Solar Warning: Never look directly at the Sun or use the telescope without a certified solar filter. Permanent and irreversible eye damage or equipment damage may occur.)
【Key Features & Technical Highlights】
Integrated Wi-Fi & SkyPortal Control: Eliminates the need for hand control wires by broadcasting its own wireless network to connect seamlessly with iOS and Android mobile devices.
Long-Life LiFePO4 Internal Battery: Provides up to 10 hours of continuous observing on a single charge; includes an integrated USB power bank port and smart power management.
Brass Worm Gear Drive System: High-performance mechanical architecture delivers superior pointing and tracking precision for short-exposure astrophotography.
6-Inch StarBright XLT Optics: $150\text{ mm}$ aperture gathering $459\times$ more light than the human eye, ideal for observing planetary surface details and bright deep-sky objects.
Ergonomic & Portable Design: Features manual altitude/azimuth clutches, integrated carry handles, tripod leg height etchings, and dual accessory trays with adjustable red LED lighting.
