Target Audience: Existing Galaxy Scientific Group Telescope Customers, Little Astronomer Students, and Hong Kong Youth Astronomy Exploration Initiative Students

【Content】

  • Introduction to basic telescope operations, along with hands-on guidance for Seestar and DWARF smart telescopes.

  • Stargazing and astrophotography demonstrations utilizing the main telescope at the Tai Mei Tuk Observatory.

  • Participants are not required to bring their own equipment. You are welcome to bring a Seestar, DWARF3, DWARF mini, or personal gear for guided operation.

Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Admission Fee:

  • Galaxy Scientific Group Telescope Customers / Little Astronomer Students / Youth Astronomy Exploration Initiative Students: HKD 180 per person

  • General Public (Non-Telescope Customers): HKD 280 per person

Capacity: 10 participants (First-come, first-served basis)

【Notes & Regulations】

  1. Bringing personal telescopes is optional. Instructors will provide the aforementioned equipment for hands-on practice and astrophotography demonstrations.

  2. Children are welcome. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Standard rates apply to both adults and children. Please note that the content is technical in nature and children may find certain technical explanations challenging; guardians are responsible for supervising their accompanied minors.

  3. In the event of adverse weather or overcast skies, instructors reserve the right to alter the event arrangements.

  4. If minimum enrollment is not met, or if a Red Rainstorm Warning Signal or Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory within 3 hours prior to the event, the activity will be canceled. Full refunds will be credited to your eshop wallet for future purchases or event registrations. Refunds or rescheduling for any other reasons will not be accommodated.

  • Public Transit: From Tai Po Market MTR Station, take:

  • -Bus 75K or 275R (275R operates on Sundays and Public Holidays only)

  • -Green Minibus 20C Alight at Tai Mei Tuk Bus Terminus (approx. 30-minute ride), followed by a 5-minute walk to the centre.
